About

Who we are

Allambie Wildlife Reserve was setup to help the local Australian wildlife that is injured, sick, or orphaned. We created a safe area for the animals to thrive in while being looked after and once they are released.

The reserve

The reserve is 129 hectares in size and has a fully protected mountain (430 metres above sea level) located on it. The wildlife are looked after in smaller pens until they are ready for local release.

The majority of animals are soft released, meaning they are allowed to wander as far as they like, always knowing they have clean water and food to return to.
